About
danamelana is a farm girl who left the farm, earned her diploma, traveled the world, fell in love along the way, then returned to that beautiful, bucolic, falling-down, rustic and hand-hewn log cabin in the woods.
she is a devotee of slow living, slow cooking, slow growing.
she also loves henry david thoreau, wendell berry, emily hahn and jeannette wells.
she is often heard humming indigo girls, norah jones, david gray, ben folds, willie nelson and johnny cash.
give her a book and you’ll be best friends for life.
in one of her former lives, danamelana taught school and still teaches but in a farm setting to her farm kids.
for fun, she likes to run barefoot, do yoga, travel by any means anywhere, drink coffee with her girlfriends and jump on the trampoline with her family.
